Shredding Material After Scanning
Many of our clients ask if they can shred documents that have been scanned. The answer to this question varies by industry. While there is very good evidence and supporting case law that a photographed document may be used in court, there is still an issue of whether physical documents and scanned documents are retrievable and shared in the same way.
