They participate in weekly training every single Tuesday regarding our best practices, controls, policies and procedures, and expectations.
Using a reputable and NAID AAA certified organization provides the reasonable legal assurance that the third party selected to destroy, sanitize or degauss has sufficient controls in place to prevent a breach. We recommend not permitting unsupervised custody or shipment of the data on your drives to any vendor without having it be encrypted first. If your organization believes there is salvage recovery for old drives or tapes, don’t underestimate the time and cost required for a professional and actual sanitization. Reoccurring Service and Drop-Off Locations
Our mobile, on-site, shredding service in the Portland, Vancouver, and greater Northwest areas can come to your location for a one-time purge or on a regular shredding schedule. We offer regular service options every 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 12 weeks.
For customers who want to drop off their shredding, AccuShred NW welcomes all customers throughout the greater Portland area to bring their secure documents to our Gresham facility or partnering UPS stores for drop-off.
A witnessed shredding time can be arranged. Prices are by box, or with higher quantities, by the roll cart.
